I WANT ONE!!! Hold on while I clean my drool off the keyboard…
I thought the life-sized Terminator T-800 was good, but I didn’t stare at that as long as I’ve stared at this.
This model is a perfect replica of the re-imagined Cylons from the current series of Battlestar Galactica. It stands a full 7 feet tall and sports a glowing red light effect in the visor. It actually has electronics built in that include stereo audio sound. This is as real as it gets, short of it being real of course.
I’m sure you’re wondering how much? If you’ve got a $1 you’re almost there – you’ll only need another 7,899 to close the deal. That makes it a fairly limited edition doesn’t it?
This is easily one of the most impressive full-scale sci fi collectibles around. If you’ve got the money and want one, or if you just want to check out the cool images in the gallery, head on over to Sideshow Collectibles to check out the full details.
Even if you can’t afford it you can still enjoy the images of this awesome Battlestar Galactica Cylon.
Please God, give me one – I promise I won’t use it to conquer Earth.
So far this week I’ve cast my eyes on some pretty cool stuff, especially the life-sized Terminator T-800 replica. But I’m not only a Terminator fan, I’m also an Aliens and Predator fan, so when I spotted this little beauty, my eyes lit up.
Ever wondered what an Alien horse would look like? The guys at Sideshow Collectibles obviously have. They put together this limited edition statue of a Predator riding above an Alien horse. Pretty sick in my view. If you’re a fan you’d no doubt want this, but alas, it was limited to 750 editions and they’re all sold out. Sorry if I got your hopes up. Still, if you want to check out a few screenies of this awesome collectible just for the hell of it, you can do so here.
Oh, by the way, there’s a waiting list button. If you lodge an order, you could possibly still get one if someone who has already ordered cancels. Its a remote hope. How lucky are you feeling?
Terminator fans prepare to freak out. In my humble opinion, this is one of the sickest collectibles around – a 6.16 foot life-sized replica of a Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton (veteran combat version from Terminator 2: Judgement Day).
As the perfect Terminator replica, this awesome collectible has built-in light fixtures that when activated result in the eyes glowing red. The endoskeleton has a battle damaged appearance and stands on top of rubble littered with human skulls. Made of chromed metal, fibreglass, and other materials, there’s just no way a serious Terminator fan won’t want one.
Can you imagine this bad boy greeting visitors as they pass through your front door! Well, you might have to imagine, because at a price of US $5950, this Terminator won’t be moving into just anyone’s home. But, if you’ve got some money to burn, this is one hell of a purchase.
Check out more details here and drool.
If you’ve got the bucks and you’re a Star Wars fan then you’ll want to read this.
This is the ultimate limited edition Star Wars collectible with only only 1,138 copies available. It consists of a beautiful wood-inlaid box adorned with Darth Vader and Yoda high-relief sculptures. Inside is a portfolio of shot-by-shot Star Wars selections each hand-picked by George Lucas. The portfolio spans six 22″ leather bound books (one for each Star Wars movie) containing more than 230 frames from each Star Wars film.
If you’re a Star Wars fan and you have some money to waste, you’ll want to pre-order. This Star Wars limited edition collectible isn’t available until 28th February 2009, and once 1,138 of them are sold, that’s it. But of course, you’ll need around £3,499.99 (around $5074 US dollars). Check it out at Forbidden Planet.
Well this is pretty mad. This is an actual mirror designed in the shape of the Stargate that can be hung in the home. It has a diameter of 9 3/4 inches (roughly 23 cm) which isn’t as large as I would like but hey, it’s a Stargate mirror no matter what size it is!
It comes with an insertable event horizon that has been printed on clear-blue molded plastic apparently created using the raw CGI files used from MGM’s studio. This printed plastic snaps into place to create a really cool Stargate event horizon look.
People who have reviewed this say its very beautiful to look at. Some people seem to think its a fan thing only, but I don’t know, the design is pretty cool. If you’d never seen the show it would still be a very cool looking almost Egyptian style mirror if you ask me.
I think if you’re into Stargate this is a collectable must-have. Check it out here.

When it comes to sci fi television series anyone with half a brain recognizes that Battlestar Galactica is the cream of the crop. It consistently delivers unbelievably professional quality television, so much so that it is the benchmark for all other series to aspire to.
On January 16, after what seems like an eternity of waiting, the final eleven hours of the series will air on scifi.com and the series will conclude once and for all. But we don’t have to wait that long for a fix.

A seriously talented fan of Star Wars has produced what can only be described as one of the coolest things ever made: a working version of the Landspeeder as used by Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars movie. According to creator/owner Daniel Deutsch, the Landspeeder is a fibreglass replica build on an aluminium chassis with an electrical drive system that can make it up to 25 mph. Though its not fast, the speeder can travel several miles on one charge – that’s several miles of cool..no very cool travel. Visit www.reallandspeeder.com to see images and movies of Deutch’s creation.
All we’re waiting for now is for this to get further development to increase its speed and distance and then sign us up.
