Many film directors demonsrate benevolence to certain actors, and it is not a secret that some of Tim Burton’s ones are Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. The director had already teamed up with Johnny for the upcoming film Dark Shadows which is the adaptation of the 1960s soap TV series about vampires, werevolves, zombies and similar creatures. Johnny Depp is going to star in the movie as Barnabas Collins, the protagonist vampire. And according to the recent reports, Tim Burton is briging more of his favourite actors to the film as well. The Monogamy movie released in 2010 (with its first premiere being at Tribeca Film Festival) and the hitting the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards, tells the story of a bored Brooklyn-based photographer who, while going to marry his fiancée, develops an unconventional side business with customers paying him for stalking them with his camera. It’s described as marrying “a mystery-thriller with a slice-of-life relationship drama to present a marvelously observed portrait of masculinity in crisis in the face of its own fantasies and fears of commitment”. ‘Gordon & French’ agency has recently listed Danny Sapani to be appearing in episode 7 of the next Doctor Who series as Colonel Manton. Mr Sapani had appeared in The Bill (Oscar Danniels) in the Witness strand, and has recently played a probation officer Tony Morecombe in Misfits and Gustavus Vassa in one episode of Garrow’s Law.
