
A film director Christopher Nolan declared that a new videogame is currently under development that is based on his Inception blockbuster, Eurogamer says.
“I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place. At the moment, the only direction we’re channeling that is by developing a video game set in the world,” Nolan said. With the release of the movie Where the Wild Things Are, the video game based on the same best-selling children’s picture book by Maurice Sendak as the movie has been launched as well. The game will be available today on Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system, Wii(TM) and Nintendo DS(TM).

Back in July we learned that Sam Raimi had signed on to direct Warcraft, a live-action feature film based on the game World of Warcraft.
The Spider-Man director has now confirmed that he’s snared Saving Private Ryan writer Robert Rodat to pen the screenplay.
Raimi also expanded on what fans can expect from the film, adding that Rodat’s job will be to create an original story that leverages off the games key mythology and characters.

Codex Pictures, a UK-based film production company, have announced they will be producing a feature film based on the Games Workshop game Warhammer 40,000.
The film, titled Ultramarines, will be a high quality, 70-minute state-of-the-art animated feature film made for DVD.
“We’re hugely honoured to be making Ultramarines,” said a spokesman for Codex Pictures. “It’s taken a lot of research and development to get to this stage – and it’s such an exciting challenge to be able to bring the depth and power of the Warhammer 40,000 universe to a brand new medium.”

Eidos Interactive Ltd and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have scored big with their release of London-based Rocksteady Studios’ video game Batman: Arkham Asylum.
The game has sold more than 2.5 million copies since launch, has won numerous ‘Game of the Month’ and ‘Editor’s Choice’ awards, has topped the UK PC charts, and has earned itself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is now recognized by Guinness as the “Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.”

Bear McCreary scores the pilot to Fox's 'Human Target'
Bear McCreary has announced he is working on two upcoming “must have” soundtrack releases.
The first is the score to Capcom’s sci-fi video game Dark Void, which will be released by Sumthing Else in 3-6 months time. The second is a new Battlestar Galactica soundtrack that will combine the scores of the BSG movie Razor and the soon to be released BSG movie The Plan.
