Here’s the promo trailer for the second episode of Fringe’s second season, ‘Night of Desirable Objects’.
In ‘Night of Desirable Objects’ a highway construction worker in rural Pennsylvania goes missing when he is mysteriously drawn into an underground tunnel filled with human remains. Meanwhile, back in the lab, Walter is attempting to simulate travel between realities on frogs. When it’s discovered that the disappearance in Pennsylvania is not an isolated incident, the Fringe team travels to the crime scene to investigate.

Oh yeah, Fringe is back in less than 24 hours! To prepare us, Fox have released a teaser that fast forwards through tomorrow’s season 2 premiere of Fringe. It is kind of spoilery, but despite serving up glimpses at scenes from the unfolding episode, it still doesn’t ruin it.
After that you can also watch a feature that takes you behind-the-scenes on the Fringe season 2 photo shoot. The feature includes interviews with the cast.

The Observer spotted at Giants vs Redkins NFL Game
I think Fox’s ‘Spot The Observer’ viral marketing campaign for Fringe is great. In the latest spotting, The Observer was caught catching the Giants vs Redskins NFL game over the weekend.
But Fox went one better by playing an excellent ‘alternate reality’ commercial during the Vikings vs Browns game. For a moment the commercial was made to look like it was a live broadcast. Awesome!

On Thursday Fox combined a repeat of Fringe Season 1, Episode 19: ‘The Road Not Taken’ with live commentary via Twitter from a number of cast and crew. The tweets from the commentary were telecast simultaneously on screen with the episode in what Fox has coined a “Tweet-Peat”.
The move was an innovative attempt to blend the popularity of live social media and live television. Given that the first season of Fringe hasn’t been running week to week and that the event kicked off with the second last episode of season one, it was clearly designed as a gift for the more serious Fringe fan.
And yet surprisingly, or is that “unsurprisingly”, there have been complaints.

Josh Jackson and John Noble will participate in Fox's "Tweet-Peat"
Fox intend to air Fringe Season 1, Episode 19: ‘The Road Not Taken’ at 9pm this Thursday but with a little something extra for fans.
As the repeat airs, a number of cast and crew will provide live commentary via Twitter messages. Their tweets will appear in a scrolling window at the lower part of the TV screen.
