Official Season 3 trailer for Torchwood: Children of Earth.

Fans of the BBC’s Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood are eagerly awaiting confirmation of when season three will hit screens this year.  With hints from Executive Producer Russell T Davies of changes to the way the series is portrayed and quotes from crew members circulating the net that fans are in for a lot of surprises, ‘eagerness’ is probably an understatement.

Season three will consist of only five episodes, and all are titled “Torchwood: Children of Earth”.  Each episode forms an entire story arc and, once complete, well that’ll be season three for you.  Under normal circumstances a five episode season would upset fans, but this time around many consider it a great step forward with expectations that the story will be the best Torchwood television yet.
