Warehouse 13 and Eureka Syfy's two most popular shows
The first season of Warehouse 13 has run its course and the third season of Eureka has also wrapped up, completing the latest run on what have become the two most popular series on Syfy.
It seems Syfy’s odd approach of restricting their promotion of both series paid off. Whilst most networks allow promotional trailers of their shows to appear on video networks including YouTube, trailers for Warehouse 13 and Eureka were not made available by any source other than Syfy’s own video site, with each promo being immediately removed once broadcast. Syfy’s decision made it difficult for bloggers to promote the shows, but clearly that didn’t impact ratings.
Eureka’s third season was its most popular yet, averaging 3.2 million viewers every week. Nine episodes of its latest season now sit in the list of the ten most watched episodes of Eureka ever.
Warehouse 13 stole some of Eureka’s glory by becoming the most popular series ever to air on Syfy in its 17 year history. It’s first season averaged 4 million viewers an episode whilst it’s season finale was the #1 cable program in its 9PM (ET/PT) timeslot.
Both show’s will return next year with all new episodes.
In Warehouse 13 S01E09 ‘Regrets’ Artie (Saul Rubinek) sends Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) to investigate a series of unexplained suicides at a Florida prison whilst Claudia attempts to use an artifact to change a lightbulb. .

In the next episode of Warehouse 13, Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) are dispatched to Las Vegas to retrieve an artifact that grants good fortune to a couple of gamblers. But their simple snag it, bag it, tag it mission gets complicated when Myka accidentally gets trapped in Lewis Carroll’s mirror—unleashing the malevolent entity that was trapped inside.

After less than two months since its premiere, Syfy has given the green-light for a minimum 13-episode second season of Warehouse 13.
“We took a look at doing 20 episodes, but for logistic and financial reasons, it didn’t make sense to do that right now, but I wouldn’t rule it out,” Syfy president Dave Howe said.
In the next of Warehouse 13 Myka and Pete race to intercept an artifact in the form of a samurai sword that’s about to be given as a gift to the President.

In the fifth episode of Warehouse 13 Pete and Myka are sent to investigate the theft of a sculpture in New York city by a person that can seemingly walk through walls.
Joe Flanigan (John Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis) will guest star as a charming, wealthy potential suspect.
There is a trailer temporarily available on Syfy’s video site. I won’t embed it here as they’ll remove it once the episode has aired and, for some reason, they haven’t been releasing their trailers elsewhere.

Tricia Helfer guest starred in Warehouse 13 'Resonance'
Sci-fi dramedy series Warehouse 13 has won the ratings war in its timeslot for the second week running.
In its first standard episode format since the pilot aired last week the series again took the title of ‘top original cabla drama in Tuesday prime time’ with 3.4 million viewers.
Warehouse 13 achieved the third best premiere for a Syfy series last week with 3.5 million viewers.
It’s a promising sign for the new show that viewer numbers remained relatively constant.
