Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica / Human Target / Green Lantern: First Flight) will guest star in the second episode of Syfy’s new sci-fi comedy series Warehouse 13.
Helfer will play Bonnie Belski, an FBI Agent in the S01E02 episode titled ‘Resonance’.
This week the SCI FI Channel became the Syfy Channel and to coincide with the change the network released its new sci-fi comedy series Warehouse 13 to excellent ratings.
The premiere of Warhouse 13 drew 3.5 million views marking it as the third best premiere in the network’s history (behind only Stargate: Atlantis and Eureka).
In a further win for the channel Warehouse 13 was the most-watched program on cable on Tuesday night.
It will be interesting to see if the new hit series maintains its popularity once fellow sci-fi comedy series Eureka returns tomorrow (Friday July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT). I’m guessing it will.
The 2-hour pilot for SyFy’s new new sci-fi drama/comedy series Warehouse 13 premieres tomorrow (Tuesday July 7). You can watch the trailer here or check out some promotional images below.

The Sci Fi/SyFy Channel has released a slew of previews for its upcoming series Warehouse 13, including a two-minute trailer and a clip from the pilot episode.
Below is the trailer, which sets up the premise and introduces us to the main characters.
Taking into consideration the fact that in many cases (including this one), the introductory advertising for a show tries to appeal to as broad of an audience as possible, the trailer for Warehouse 13 still seems to indicate a good deal of potential for the show. Also, this show deserves the attention Farscape fans, because Rockne S. O’Bannon, the creator of the beloved show about John Crichton and Co., is also the man behind Warehouse 13.
You can view a clip from the pilot after the jump.
Allison Scagliotti (aka Mindy in Drake & Josh) has been cast in the Sci Fi Channel’s new sci-fi ‘dramedy’, Warehouse 13.
Warehouse 13, from the famed writer/producer of Farscape, Rockne O’Bannon, also stars Saul Rubinek as Artie Nielsen, Eddie McClintock as Pete Lattimer, Joanne Kelly as Myka Bering and CCH Pounder as Mrs. Frederick.
Scagliotti will portray Claudia Donovan, a young, hip, brilliant techno-wiz, who manages to successfully breach the Warehouse’s complex security system in order to track down Artie (Rubinek). With a natural aptitude for science and technology, Donovan’s talents enable her to manipulate and activate many of the objects contained in the Warehouse to help the Team.
Warehouse 13 is about two Secret Service agents who find themselves abruptly transferred to a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse’s caretaker Artie charges Pete (McClintock) and Myka (Kelly) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the warehouse itself.
The 2-hour pilot for Warhouse 13 will premiere July 7.

SCI FI has a new sci-fi drama/comedy series on its way titled Warehouse 13. The new series is the creation of famed writer/producer of Farscape, Rockne S. O’Bannon.
It was way back in 2007 when we heard this one would find its way to our screens in 2008, but that never happened. Although we’re about a year behind on the expectation meter, the series is now officially in post-production.
Warehouse 13 follows apair of U.S. Secret Service agents who, thanks to saving the life of a prominent diplomat, are re-assigned to a covert warehouse that stores supernatural objects. Their assignment is to retrieve missing objects and investigate reports of new ones. Sounds like it could be another kind of Eureka – which I have absolutely no problem with.
The cast includes Saul Rubinek as Artie Nielsen, Eddie McClintock as Pete Lattimer, Joanne Kelly as Myka Bering, and CCH Pounder as Mrs. Frederick.
Officially Warehouse 13 is scheduled to premiere in October, however Coming Soon have stated it will premiere in July. The official website hasn’t been updated and the ‘other’ official announcement at Paszaz Entertainment identifies a summer date release. So I’d say the guys at Coming Soon are probably on the money.
