It’s Been A Long Wait, But ‘Eureka’ Is Back In Under A Week

Eureka

Although fans are worried about the impact of its new Friday timeslot, at least the long wait is almost over for the return of Eureka when next week the remaining half of season 3’s episodes will begin to air on the Sci Fi Channel.  I mean the SyFy Channel.

The next episode will take off where the previous one left off and deal with the firing of Sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson).

Spoiler ahead

Next week’s episode will introduce Carter’s replacement – a robot named Sheriff Andy. Sheriff Andy is a billion-dollar robot who takes over Carter’s job whilst Carter looks for a new one.  Although Andy only lasts as Carter’s replacement for one episode the series co-creator and writer/producer Jaime Paglia likes him so much he wants him back.

“I would like to have Sheriff Andy make a return to the show,” Paglia said. “He very nearly [returns] in the season finale, but I would definitely say that, looking forward optimistically to season four, I think that he would be great to have come back, on at least some kind of recurring basis.”

One character who definitely isn’t coming back is the now deceased Nathan Stark (Ed Quinn).

“I don’t want to tease fans and disappoint them. He will not be back in these 10 episodes,” Paglia said.

The website told you a lot about the next season. I only want to know if carter becomes sheriff again. Also is there going to be a 5th season. Does Alison get married and does Zoe come back.
