A Modern Take On X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes

According to Variety, the writer and director of 28 Weeks Later, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, is teaming up with MGM to remake the 1963 horror sci-fi thriller, X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes. This will be Fresnadillo’s first film since 28 Weeks Later.
The original movie starred Ray Milland as Dr. James Xavier, a world renowned scientist who experiments with human eyesight. The story follows Xavier as he devises a drug that allows the user to see beyond the normal range of human vision, including through objects. Out of desperation once his funding is cut, Xavier tests the drug on himself but not only does he develop the ability to see through objects, he develops the ability to see beyond reality itself.
