A Toy Every Jedi Should Have: The Star Wars Force Trainer

As technology improves more and more we are beginning to understand the power of the mind – and what better way to demonstrate our understanding than with a Star Wars toy!

The Star Wars Force Trainer is the latest from the Star Wars Science line of toys.  It uses cutting-edge brainwave technology to translate and transmit the electrical impulses of your brain as a method to interact with the game.  You can literally train your mind to levitate a ball – suddenly claiming you’re a Jedi on the latest Census is no longer so far fetched.

By practicing and becoming more proficient with controlling your thought patterns you can advance through 15 levels of difficulty – from Padawan to Jedi Master – whilst familiar Star Wars character voices and sound effects guide and encourage you.

How much to train your friends and family in the ways of the Jedi?  I have no idea, but to buy one of these toys will cost you US $124.99.  You’ll have to wait until later in the year for these to be available in retail stores, but if you pre-order now you’ll have it shipped to you in August 2009 before anyone else gets one.

I wished they had these when I was kid.  But I’m not, so I’ll instead call it one of the coolest Star Wars Collectibles I’ve seen.  Now I can buy one without embarrassment.

Go here if you’re interested in grabbing one for yourself.
