ABC Letting ‘Defying Gravity’ Down
Nothing hurts the potential of a new series more than a complete lack of promotion. ABC’s new sci-fi series Defying Gravity airs only its sixth episode this Sunday but you’d hardly know it. All ABC have released is a single line synopsis that will do nothing to attract potential new viewers:
“Some crew members struggle with guilt; a serious accident puts a crew member’s life in danger.”
There you have it.
Defying Gravity S01E06 ‘Bacon’ airs August 30 at 10/9c.

Yes, just like firefly – and it is actually a great show. I’ve been watching it on the website and am sad to know that chances are I’ll never getthe answers I am hoping will one day be revealed.

Great series.
So sad to find out its been stopped. One of the better Sci-Fi series out there . . . . obviously not enough “fantasy”.

I have watched all 13 episodes of Season One and enjoyed every minute of it when it made sense in sticking to the present and not flirting from the past to the present. When they do this one wonders whether they are still in the past or present without telling us. If season two is to be made then perhaps they could look at this confusion. Also find other more interesting material that could replace halucinations. Perhaps continuing with the idea of changes taking place in their bodies to giving far greater giftings in humane abilities and not flirting from one bed to the next. I found the newspaper reporter very interesting and knowlegable. Give him a lot more exposure in researching the waste of peoples money when things go wrong. I also found him landing up in bed with the scientist in one of the episodes. No wonder all this drinking and womanizing has cuased ratings to fall. Surely this is not fun for children, neither for yours truly. By the way I am from South Africa. Lets clean up the show and get on with more interesting seasons. The brains are available to create better episodes. Then test the ratings. Thanks

I watched defying gravity because it was a change from all the Law and oder and CSI shows.
I the characters and the plot were interesting. This was a program projecting what is like to travel to Mars.
I think this show could get revived if the Sy Fy channel added it to their schedule.
