Anthony Daniels Confirmed for the ‘Star Wars’ Concert Tour
US Star Wars fans wishing to attend Star Wars: In Concert will be pleased to hear that Anthony Daniels (aka C3PO) will definitely be participating as the narrator who introduces each musical segment.
The Star Wars: In Concert show is a full multi-media spectacular with live orchestral music from all six Star Wars films set to newly edited film sequences projected onto one of the largest LED screens ever taken on tour.
“People know this music, but they’ll have the wonderful opportunity to see how it’s made,” Daniels said.

Having appeared in all six feature films, the Star Wars videogames and TV specials, The Clone Wars TV series and other tie-in productions, as well as having narrated Star Wars: A Musical Journey, Daniels is widely becoming known as the voice of Star Wars.
“It never occurred to me that way,” Daniels told Wired.com during the San Diego Comic-Con. “I think, if Darth Vader is the scary face of Star Wars, 3PO is the friendly face — the vulnerable face of Star Wars.”
“Children are spellbound by this concert,” he adds. “You can’t not be spellbound by this concert. But I want to see people come to a live performance and hear live orchestral sound played beautifully throughout the hall. We have live cameras that can focus in on the orchestra so you can see the musicians working together to create that sound up on a huge, 100-foot digital screen.”
The concert is also accompanied by a traveling museum exhibit of Star Wars film props, models and costumes.
Tour dates as well as images of the traveling exhibit are available on the official website – the first tour kicks off on October 1st in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center.
