‘Avatar’ 3D Rakes in $100 for Imax
Avatar’s 3D version has fetched $100 million for Imax through its global collection. It has been more than seven weeks since the release of this revolutionary 3D film but the craze seems to still continue throughout the world. The overseas box office collection of the film is $33 million whereas the major part of 68 million dollar has come from North America. Ricard Gelfond, CEO Imax, thinks this phenomenon would keep on continuing for the future 3D films in their theaters and there would only be an increase in the number of return audience. Even we think that the magic created at the Imax was really overwhelming and we would definitely look forward to such Hollywood flicks.
