Callum Blue Cast As Zod In ‘Smallville’

British actor Callum Blue has been cast as mega villain Zod in the ninth season of Smallville.
Blue’s previous credits include Dead Like Me (he played Mason), Related, The Tudors, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Apparently Blue will be a regular on the show so fans may be right to expect a fair amount of Zod action in the new season.
Zod was last played by Terence Stamp opposite Christopher Reeve in the 1980 film Superman II. Callum Blue certainly has some big shoes to fill.
This announcement follows the recent announcement that Brian Austin Green will be playing the cyborg villain Metallo.
Despite speculation that this will be the final season of Smallville, these recent cast announcements suddenly have the series looking up.

That’s almost as idiotic as the Doomsday episode. Hey everyone dissapeared and we can’t find them and just so there’s clarification as to whom can’t be found we’ll even specifically name them – though all three were seen just a couple seconds before.
SOMEONE needs to learn how either 1) direct, welling sheesh
2) EDIT – I realize ten or twelve different story lines might be filmed then one selected – but Continuity PLEASE
