Concept Art From Ronald D. Moore’s ‘Virtuality’
Although there remains a great deal of doubt surrounding the potential for Ronald D. Moore’s Virtuality pilot to get a full series green-light, that won’t stop me from being excited to see what Moore can do with the pilot to his first sci-fi outing since Battlestar Galactica.
To add a little to that excitement, today io9 scored a few exclusive concept art images of the deep space probe Phaeton (aboard which the story takes place) together with an image of the ship’s captain, Frank Pike, acting out a virtual reality civil war scenario. Click on the thumbnails to check them out:
The pilot to Virtuality will air on Fox at 8pm on June 26th.

…Heh, heh, heh. “Frank Pike”. I wonder if RDM has ever seen Dad’s Army?
“Mr. Mainwaring! Mum will be mad if this hologram gives me a cold again”
“Quiet, Pike! Stupid boy…”
