Talking with The Hollywood Reporter, Lost co-creator and executive producer Damon Lindelof has confirmed that the current producers of Lost are not interested in adapting the hit television series to the big screen.

Although we think Lost is the no.1 science fiction show on television it is great news to hear the story won’t be compromised in the interests of a feature film. After the spectacular and yet unsatisfying ending to Battlestar Galactica we completely agree with Lindelof that the biggest mistake they could possibly make would be to leave the mysteries of Lost unanswered. It is music to our ears to hear Lindelof say, “At the end of season six all their resolutions will happen.”

The final episode of Lost season 5 airs this Wednesday May 13 on ABC as a double episode titled ‘The Incident’.
