David Goyer Talks On ‘Ghost Rider 2′
David Goyer, a screenwriter for Batman Begins and Super Max, was recently asked by MTV about what to expect from Ghost Rider 2. He has mentioned that it’s not exactly a reboot, and the story picks up eight years after the first film. “I hate to say it’s more realistic, because he’s got a flaming skull for a head, but it’s a bit more stripped down and darker. It’s definitely changing tone. What ‘Casino Royale’ was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to ‘Ghost Rider.’” The movie is being done in such a way, that you don’t have to watch the first film before watching the second one.
Ghost Rider 2 is targeting a shoot in 2010, and the Nicolas Cage is currently attached to the lead role.

I wonder if Nicholas Cage got his check for this one, yet. Because.. heh heh.. he could use the money. “Hey Buddy, got six millions dollars you could spare?”
