‘Deadland’ Trailer Released
Deadeye Films have released the trailer for Deadland, a post apocalyptic sci-fi action/drama. Watch it now:
The story of Deadland takes place after World War 3, where nuclear strikes have set the US back 200 years. In this post apocalyptic setting, money is valueless and food is the new gold. Hope is all but lost when every survivor of the war becomes infected with a fatal plague.
Deadland follows Sean Kalos (Gary Weeks) as he strives to find his missing wife amongst a martial-law where ‘Officers of the Province’ rule with power and cruelty. When Sean crosses them, he finds himself in the middle of a personal war and his search for his wife dominoes into what could be the revolution the survivors have been waiting for.
Additional cast include William Katt (The Greatest American Hero / The Man From Earth), Brian Tee (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift / Starship Troopers 2), William Katt (Big Game / Beautiful Loser), Harrison Page (JAG) and Philip Boyd I (appearances in Star Trek: Enterprise / Knight Rider).
The film is directed by award winning Damon O’Steen (29 Reasons To Run / The Drone Virus / Waiting on the Lost).
Deadland’s world premiere occurred at the Atlanta Film and Video Festival on April 18, and can next be seen at the Newport Beach International Film Festival on April 25.
