Death Failed to Kill ‘Dr. Parnassus’
Heath Ledger’s Death almost killed the Terry Gilliam Directed The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Ledger was shooting for Gilliam’s movie when he died and this forced the director to stop the production temporarily. With support from family and friends Gilliam started re-shooting the film with Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp playing Ledger’s role in different scenes. There were certain changes made in a few scenes that were left to be shot without making almost any changes in the storyline. Gilliam himself informed had reported about the minor changes in the scenes in closed room press conference.
