Dominic Monaghan and Gabrielle Union join 'Flash Forward'
Dominic Monaghan (Lost / Lord of the Rings) and Gabrielle Union (Life / City of Angels) have joined the cast of ABC’s new sci-fi drama Flash Forward, Variety reports.
Monaghan’s involvement was officially unveiled to an enthusiastic crowd on Friday during the Flash Forward panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. Monaghan will play Simon, a character we know nothing about except that he won’t be appearing in the pilot.
Gabrielle Union will play a criminal defense attorney who becomes involved romantically with one the core characters.
Flash Forward is a series based upon or more accurately inspired by Robert J. Sawyer’s sci-fi novel ‘Flashforward’. It follows the story of many different characters from all over the world as they deal with witnessing a 2-minute and 17-second slice of the future.
Flash Forward will premiere on Thursday, September 24 at 8pm ET.
