The Storm Warriors

Directors Oxide and Danny Pang, who are perhaps best known for the original The Eye (2001) and The Messengers (2007), are now only six months away from releasing their martial arts fantasy epic The Storm Warriors.

The Storm Warriors is often referred to as a sequel to 1998’s Storm Riders although the Pang brothers have stated the film is not actually a direct sequel but more of a stand alone film. Nonetheless those familiar with the first film will be pleased to know that actors Ekin Cheng (Wind) and Aaron Kwok (Cloud) have returned to reprise their original roles.

The story comes from the original author of Storm Riders Wing-Shing Ma and will follow the characters Wind and Cloud as they find themselves up against a ruthless Japanese warlord, Lord Godless, who is intent on invading their home land.
