According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eliza Coupe (Scrubs / Samantha Who) has scored one of the leading roles in ABC Studio’s new super-hero comedy, No Heroics.

Couple will apparently play a bad girl that can turn invisible.

No Heroics was originally a six-part BBC production created by Drew Pearce that told the story of a pub named ‘The Fortress’ in which super-hero’s relax on their time off whilst abiding by the pub rules not to use their super powers on premises.

The series followed four main heroes, all of whom either had mediocre powers or were a laughing stock to heroes with stronger powers.   It seems the ABC Studios version won’t be entirely a carbon copy as none of the lead characters in the original series had the power of invisibility.

An air date has not yet been announced as casting continues.
