Zerks Log has that unique feel to it where if you're not a sci fi buff it won't matter - the sci-fi is very secondary to the character of Zerks. In fact, good sci-fi always consists of the 'sci-fi' element being secondary to the story and characters. It's one of the many rasons why Battlestar Galactica was so good. I'm looking forward to seeing where the 'Zerksverse' goes. I can see how that would be the case.
