Although produced on a low $500K budget, Radiant Pictures Entertainment’s Fear the Forest is up and coming Director Matthew Bora’s (Mr. Las Vegas / The Drop) biggest budget feature-film to date.
Billed as a horror sci-fi thriller, the story goes that ten years ago a group of people were killed at the hands of a Native American Indian legend -- the Sasquatch -- a beast said to be a God. When the story is declared a hoax, a local Philanthropist (who believes the story was true) puts out a $2.5 million dollar bounty on the mysterious beast. A team of expert hunters go in search of the beast. At the same time, a group of free spirited college friends also go on a canoeing and camping trip in search of the legend, but their trip soon turns into a rollercoaster ride of terror when they discover the legend is real. Now they must struggle to survive as the Beast begins to terrorize and kill them one by one. But it’s not only the legendary Beast that they have to worry about…
Director Matthew Bora wrote the screenplay and stars alongside Anna Kendrick (The Drop), Jared Michalski (Off Islanders / The Waystation:Prelude), Elana Safar (Cleansing / The Early Show) as ‘Wendy’, Steven Sherman (The Waiter) as ‘Kurtis’, Don Evans (Manganinnie / Nuts, Bolts and Bedroom Springs), and Henry (credited as Matt’s Dog).
Hilton Belle and Don Evans are producing in association with Executive Producer Matthew Bora.
