First Look at the ‘Stargate Universe’ Gate Room
The Stargate aboard the ship Destiny in 'Stargate Universe'
A few days ago MGM upgraded their Stargate website with a focus on Stargate Universe. As part of the upgrade MGM added a complete 3-D virtual tour of the Destiny – the new ship aboard which the series primarily takes place.
The guys over at Gateworld have painstakingly taken more than 100 high resolution snapshots at various points of the tour and put their images together into a ‘Destiny Set Tour’ gallery. The above image is from their gallery and shows the first and clearest real image of the Destiny’s Stargate. The image below shows one side of the back of the gate room.

Well and good. But I’m still not sure I like the new cast.

Man the new gate room just looks crazy awesome. Can’t wait for this series. I like the old light hearted stargate, but I also love dark gritty stuff too, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
