Four More Cast Members Announced for Spielberg’s Sci-Fi Series
Moon Bloodgood, Jessy Schram, Seychelle Gabriel and Maxim Knight have been cast in the pilot to Steven Spielberg’s upcoming yet still untitled alien invasion series.
The four will join ER’s Noah Wyle who scored the lead role a month ago.
The new series, executive produced by Spielberg for the Turner Entertainment Network (TNT), takes place six months after a worldwide alien invasion. It follows a group of everyday heroes led by Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) who struggle to fight against the occupying alien forces.
The four new cast members will form a part of Mason’s group.
Bloodgood will play Anne Glass, a therapist working with the children to help them with the trauma of the alien invasion. With her strength and dry sense of humor, Anne, whose husband died during the invasion, becomes a bedrock of the survivors’ community and Tom’s confidant.
Knight will play Tom’s youngest son who is still dealing with the terror of the alien invasion.
Schram will play Karen, an athletic tomboy who works as a motorcycle scout.
Gabriel will play Lourdes, a pretty teenager who has lost family and helps run the camp’s makeshift commissary.
The pilot will be directed by Carl Franklin to a story co-conceived by Spielberg and Saving Private Ryan Oscar nominee Robert Rodat. Rodat is scripting the series.
A title and air date are yet to be announced.
