Anna Torv wins 'Best Newcomer' for her role as Agent Olivia Dunham in 'Fringe'

Fringe’s Anna Torv (Agent Olivia Dunham) has been voted ‘Best Newcomer’ with 32% of the vote in Inside TV’s ‘2009 TV Season End Poll’.

More than 350,000 votes were cast across a range of categories that also saw Fringe voted as the second ‘Best New Show’ with 14% of the vote – beaten only by The Mentalist which drew a whopping 58%.

Not to be left behind, Fringe’s Joshua Jackson (Peter Bishop) managed to draw 14% of the votes to claim second place in the ‘Who had the best comeback’ category.  He was beaten by The Mentalist’s Simon Baker with 56 percent.
