Hugh Jackman – About ‘The Wolverine’ By Aronofsky

We have already heard from Darren Aronofsky some info as for what we can expect from his movie The Wolverine, and the film director’s comments are quite encouraging and allow to presume it will be a hit no less than his previous film starring Hugh Jackman X-men released back in 2000. So, the good news is that now the movie’s star Hugh Jackman started talking about the project, and he has let some things slip away as for what we will see in 2012 when The Wolverine is released into the theatres.
Hugh Jackman has been very positive about Darren Aronofsky, saying:
He’s a visionary. I’ve been trying to get Darren since X-Men 3, really. We’ve been talking about this and Wolverine for so long.
The star also revealed that for the movie he has to gain on 25 pounds of muscle – which is more than he has ever had for any of the roles he used to play. So we might expect to see lots of close-ups of Wolverine’s muscled body. Besides, without actually revealing any details about the film, Jackman claims that all of its ideas are really great:
…we had a meeting about three weeks ago, catching up as friends more than anything, and he just ran a few ideas by me and my eyes just lit up, because already I think this is like a whole new ballgame – just the ideas, the level of depth, and intelligence, and creativity. I think he’s been waiting so long to do a movie in this genre. When he found the script, he said this is it. It’s really exciting.
