X-Men Origins: Magneto

It’s not new information but nonetheless a little confirmation never hurt anyone.  X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Lauren Shuler Donner has re-confirmed to Sci Fi Wire that she’s still eager to do a Magneto movie providing Wolverine does well at the box office.

“We have a great [Magneto] script,” she told Sci Fi Wire. “Honestly, we have all been just so focused on getting Wolverine out that we didn’t take the time to sit down and explore ‘What are the movies we’re going to do next within the genre?’ We will do that. We will do that. We all want to. Magneto is a fantastic script, and hopefully we’ll make it. I don’t know.”

If X-Men Origins: Magneto moves forward it will be a prequel.  If you want to see it, make sure you go see X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the theater.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine starts in theaters:
27 April – USA Premiere (Harkins Cine Capri, Tempe Marketplace, Arizona)
29 April – Australia & UK
1 May – USA
