In Case Of Emergency Stake Here


Lately New Zealand seem to be leading the rest of the world as far as creative advertising campaigns go.  Following hot on the heels of Sky’s impressive ad campaign for their premiere of Alien Vs Predator, HBO have expertly come up with their own idea to market True Blood (which premiered on the HBO channel last night in NZ).

They erected billboards with signs depicting a hand driving a stake through a vampires heart alongside the slogan ‘IN CASE OF VAMPIRE’.  The signs were accompanied with line after line of ready-to-grab-in-case-of-emergency stakes, with ‘Snap Here’ written above them.  Brilliant!
