Like NBC’s fourth season of Heroes, the ninth season of Smallville is really shaping up well with stellar cast announcements.
In the latest one, Julian Sands (Warlock / 24 / Stargate SG1) has been cast to play a young Jor-El in at least one episode of the new season of Smallville.
Speaking of great actors to join the series, watch the following sneak peek clip from S09E01 ‘Savior’ featuring an appearance by Brian Austin Green (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) who plays the villain Metallo in the new season (clip after the jump).
Smallville season 9 returns Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 pm.
