Katee Sackhoff Researching A Role In The Reboot Of ‘Daredevil’?
This might be one of those rumors with a bit of substance that is worth writing about.
A few weeks ago we reported that 20th Century Fox Chairman Tom Rothman had confirmed a new Daredevil feature film was in development – a reboot they’re calling it.
Now we’re hearing that Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff (aka Starbuck) may be researching a role in the flick.
The Los Angeles based ‘Golden Apple‘ comic book store has written on their blog that Sackhoff recently attended their store on a mission to buy up all the comics they had featuring the character Typhoid Mary. Typhoid Mary is a Marvel supervillain who is most associated with the Daredevil comic – her first appearance was in Daredevil #254.
Speculation is now sweeping the internet that Sackhoff is researching the role of Typhoid Mary and that she may end up appearing in the Daredevil reboot. The blog entry by the Golden Apple states that she “has hopes to get a part for a Marvel movie.”
We suspect her research relates to auditioning for the role, so it’s a little early to get our hopes up that she’ll be in the film. But, we’ll cross our fingers for her because as long time Daredevil comic fans we think she’d be perfect.
