Yes, Elena reportedly divulged details about the storyline of the next series by mentioning that the series is full of uncertainties and the story is going to catch up from exactly where it was left. So the car crash and the events after or prior to that are going to bear a lot of importance for the next season. Dobrey informed that it is not all going to be a bed of roses for the newly wed couple Stephen and Elena. That is enough news for us Elena to get hooked during the new season next year!
