‘Legend of the Seeker’ Season 2 Air Date Announced
New 'Legend of the Seeker' series regular: Tabrett Bethell as the Mord'Sith Cara
Previous rumors that Legend of the Seeker’s second season would kick off on October 31 have turned up false.
Executive producers Ken Biller and Ned Nalle have revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con that the series will return with 22 new episodes on Saturday, November 7 2009.
They also confirmed that Tabrett Bethell will become a series regular in the second season. Bethell appeared in season one in the episode ‘Reckoning’ as the Mord’Sith Cara.
In the episode that kicks off on November 7 Charisma Carpenter (Angel / Greek) will guest star as the Mord’Sith Triana, said to be “wicked” and who will be involved in “intense female army fighting.” Sounds pretty cool.
Production on the second season is currently underway in New Zealand.

First season was on FOX, so I am assuming that it will also be on fox. Sad to hear that it was moved to Saturdays though. The time slot where TV shows go to die.

I get the show in the NYC area on CW11 and WGN. Both stations aired the show on Saturdays. Don’t know if that is changing for Season 2. It’s syndicated so air times will vary.

Good series but a little disappointing if you’ve read the books. Many adventures have been cut and shrunk so much as to be almost unrecognizable.
I only found this series because of a lack of cable for a week when I moved. I was using hulu on my laptop.
Good series, excellent books. Read them for details.

The books were so good! The television series let me down in several ways. It never hit on crucial parts of the story, such as Darken Rahl being Richards father. As far as tv shows go, it was definitely worth while, and will successfully satisfy anyones fantasy itch.

My husband, sister, and myself are waiting in anticipation for season 2 … my sis and I have seen stills of Richard and just wanted to say “Free the chin!” :- D We just think Richard looks a bit odd with facial hair … he looks way better without it, but if it stays, maybe it will grow on us.

The facial hair is actually something brought up in the books. In later books he is forced to groom himself and dress well (I will not give away more than that).
If they end up canceling the series I highly recommend you pick up the books. While the series is interesting the books are phenomenally well written. But to warn you the books are much more dark than the series. For example the torture episode with Denna takes up hundreds of pages in exquisitely gruesome detail. However it allows for a very key plot to thicken in later books.
And soon you will learn what “Bringer of Death” really means!

I agree with TimL, even though the tv series did well the books are so much better. i actually started with the tv series and told my friends and they told me that it was based on a series of books. right now i am readind faith of the fallen and its kinda boring but i’m sure it will pick up soon.

I loved the first season – I thought it was really interesting! I must have watched the episodes at least twice! I can’t wait for it to start up again, unfortunately, I will miss the first episode

I heard about the series and everytime i went to the bookstore i would see the books but didn’t give it too much thought. I wasnt until i was bored one day and started watching the show online that i became hooked. Of course the first season had ended already and I watched the whole first season on the website in 2 days(did not get much sleep). I was obsessed. I went to the book store and in 2 weeks finished the whole series(11 books) and I still wanted more. Then the new Goodkind book(The law of Nine) came out and read that in 1 day. I absolutely love the books and are so much better than the tv show but I still enjoy the show very much, after all it got me to read the books.

oh my god !!!!! the books rock i read all twice and went totally nuts waiting for new ones to come out but the shows left me a little like what Richard is such a manly man in the books,and more sure of him self . the guy they have playing him seams a little gay and unsure.all in all i liked the show just not the same

Craig Horner is such a cute young man. Beautiful face, gorgeous chest, and firm little butt. I adore him. The story line also is excellent.
It is not clear what channel Season 2 will be on.

For those who needed to know. Both season 1 and 2 were and will be aired on kmyt channel 10 for those on cox cable and on sundays. so tomorrow, NOT TONIGHT will be the premiere for the middle south states. good luck. it took me half of season one watching on hulu to finally find out it was actually on tv in my area. lmao.

also guys, another note. And people seem not to get this point but the series is based on the Sword of Truth series written by Terry Goodkind. If you haven’t read the books ill let you know now that the timelines and stories are way more involved and quite a bit different in the books. I read the books first and was surprised at how season 1s story went. both are good though.

what the fuck i missed the show those bastards should have not changed the time that the first season had i used to watch it at 8 or 9 now it starts at 4 im working at that time and i tried looking at it hulu .com and its being very gay not showing me the espiode but clips what the freak if i wanted to see clips i would go to you tube and see that i cant belive this i really cant they better change the time like it use to be god i feel alot better but still annoyed

Great show, watched it all online one flu ridden weekend. Well, maybe not great but It does the trick. Kinda reminded me of the same fantasy that hercules was like when I was 10. Either way I love Kalahn ! No idea who plays her but I Iove her … Haha. Saw season2 premiere interesting having to find another seeker, I may have to pick up the books.

The books have more detail but they are not well written and have no fluidity. I read the first book in the series and there were many typo’s in the book but the one glaring one was on the back of the book. However, I do love the show and am looking forward to Season 2.

I loved “Legend of the Seeker” season 1. I’m am a true fan of fantasy adventure books but have never read the Sword of truth which the series is based off of. I don’t have a lot of faith that the show will stay on the air for very long and this disappoints me. Unfortunately not everyone is interested in these sort of shows. Which is sad, because I think if people gave the show a chance, they would love it. Legend of the seeker fans….Keep watching the show, and tell your friends. Lets keep the seeker on the air!!

I loved the show from the beginning> the love the chemistry between Richard and Kaylan is perfect. I stay up to watch it Sunday till 1145.Sunday it was 2 hrs. I watched it to 1:45!!!! Tired next day, so what would watch it again.
I keep waiting for them to ride away together.

While the books do have a few typo’s they are extremely well written. Maybe a few things repeat themselves in almost every book but still captivating. Personaly I liked the books better, but i find it fun to watch the directors views on the events that went on. Personaly I think they did a fantastic job picking Kalahan. Richard… is a wuss compaired to how the books made you think of him. But the facial hair is making him fit the part much better.

Demn,legend of d seeker, a movie that’s ful of passion,knowledge,wisdom,care,love,interesting violence,educative & easy to understand. Inshort,season 1 & 2 are handsomely interesting that u can afford to miss an episode, i can’t wait to watch season 3,hope it’s out soon.

I think they did great in season 1 of the legend of the seeker & they are off to a great start in season 2 Bridget Regan as the confessor they could not have picked anyone better I also think that Craig Horner is superb as well as Bridget Regan & the girl who plays Cara also they are doing so well they should be able to get to a 3rd season or more although people who have read the books don’t always like the show but some do some don’t but if you make a TV show & do everything like the books what fun does that make it if you know what is going to happen so I don’t mind them getting away from the books.I also think Terry Goodkind should find a way for Richard & Kahlen to be together so they can have sex without Kahlen’s power hurting Richard.Terry has had such great success with his books that so many people love the books but there are also people who love the show so he should try & let the show make people happy even if it strays from his books.like having Richard & Kahlen find a way to be together so can have sex & have children without Kahlen’s power hurting Richard.Richard & Kahlen are truely in love by true love but have given up things for other people like for chase to have the potion so his wife’s touch wouldn’t hurt him they give so much to other people that these 2 certainly deserve to be together in the show like a true married couple so they should find a way for Richard & Kahlen to be together so they can have sex without Kahlen’s powers hurting Richard. the show is superb try also you fans out there of the show to help the show get to a 3rd season or even more.sometimes people just haven’t come across a show yet like maybe this show but the people I know that have come across the show have become hooked on the show in just one or 3 episodes that they have just watched if they give the show more time it will progress the show is already superb it is my favorite show to watch on TV.

This just can’t be true! It is over, Legend of the seeker! I can’t believe it’s over! To be honest with u guys, i didn’t really like the ending of season 2. Richard and Kalyn just kissed and smiled and than it ended. But i like the part when Zed said like “the most powerful love is the love between you and Kalyn” and something like that. I also like when Cara made that face right after Zed told them that and during. Legend of the seeker is always going to be in my heart and i’m going to keep watching the episodes to the start and finish it again.
