I absolutely love Legend Of The Seeker, although it isn’t quite like the books its still amazing. I try not to compare it to the books because its only loosely based on them your never going to get the perfect book storyline. Wasn’t quite sure about the casting for Richard Cypher(Rahl) at first, he just seemed a bit boyish but after seeing the fight with the d’harans afetr the boundary broke down it completely changed my mind. Love it!!!

I have to say I was not expecting legend of the seeker to be so far removed from the books. I was so excited about seeing the book in action but then I found it rather disapointing? Season one has no mention of the mud people and when is there going to be any hint of Richard being a war wizard and why were the sister’s of light even mentioned in the first series? Since when does Richard open the boxes of Orden? He’s supposed to tell Lord Rahl how to open it because he memorised the book of counted shadows as a kid and what’s up with the bone lady not getting her due? They might as well have changed all the names of the characters as well and called it something else!

I totally agree with “NOT IMPRESSED”
This serie has nothing to do with the story in the books.
I saw the first 4 episodes and not even bothered to look any further.. cause it did not even get close to the book..
ZEDD is RICHARDS best friend in the books (and later known as Grandpa) in the series he hates the “Old weird man”

Dear “not impressed” and “not impressed either” (your names are so original by the way)
The TV series is BASED on the books! Like hello!!!!! I hate it when people compare books with TV series/movies! Its a totally different media and to compare the two is impossible and a waste of time! If you want to read the book then read it! If you want to watch the series watch it!!! Things that worked in the book may not have worked in the series!
I loved the series and have watched both seasons! Bring on a third season and I will watch that one too! I have also read the books and loved those too!

LOTS please continue to make more seasons and just put it in your website. I would love to pay to watch each episode on line. Let ABC realize their BIGGEST MISTAKE ever made!! I am sure it will be watched by millions around the world. JUST PUT IT IN YOUR WEBSITE PLEASE..PLEASE…PLEASE… You don’t have to put up with those TV stations. Make your OWN STATION IN YOUR OWN WEBSITE!!! YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO DO IT!!!! AND I AM SURE IT WILL BE VERY, VERY, VERY SUCCESSFUL!!
