Leonard Nimoy’s Short Stint On ‘Fringe’

This week it was announced that Leonard Nimoy had been cast in Fringe as the head of fictional corporation ‘Massive Dynamic’. And the world rejoiced.
Unfortunately the news is Nimoy’s time on Fringe will be very limited. According to Ausiello, Nimoy will appear in just one scene in the May 12 finale and then will return for Fringe season 2 for only three episodes.
Apparently the story behind William Bell’s character was cut back to accommodate a request from Nimoy who was only interested in doing a handful of episodes. But just as Ausiello says:
“A little Leonard Nimoy is better than no Leonard Nimoy.”
