The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that both Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter / The English Patient) and Liam Neeson (Taken / Batman Begins) will star in Louis Leterrier’s Clash of the Titans.

Ralph Fiennes will pay Hades, the ruler of the underworld.  Neeson will play Zeus, the king of the gods.

Liam Neeson had signed on for the project some time ago, however until now it remained uncertain as to whether he would still be up to participating following the untimely tragic death of his wife, Natasha Richardson.

Neeson and Fiennes will join an all star cast in Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation / Avatar ), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale / King Arthur), Alexa Davalos (Chronicles of Riddick / The Mist), Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace), Liam Cunningham (First Knight / The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor), Hans Matheson (Deathwatch / Sherlock Holmes) and Luke Treadaway (Dogging: A Love Story / Brothers of the Head).

Clash of the Titans is scheduled for a March 26, 2010 release
