‘Lionsgate’ Bids for ‘Terminator’
Halycon has found a bidder (at last) for their biggest asset Terminator! According to the sources in the Hollywood, Halcyon has chosen stalking horse bidder Lionsgate. Though the meaning of this term is not clear to many of us but there is a rumor that the production house must have bid somewhere around 25 million dollar to bag the rights for the franchisee. Halycon was declared bankrupt about six months back and the bid for its franchisee is being seen as a last ditch effort to settle a few dues. There are bound to other bidders but the chance of Lionsgate ending up with the deal is quite strong.
