Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings concert

If you’re a film score buff and you live in New York, you’re going to love this.

On October 9 and 10 the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring score will be performed live by more than 300 musicians while the movie plays on a 60-foot screen at the Radio City Musical Hall in New York.  Now how awesome is that!

Further, a panel will be held on October 1 at the Paley Center for Media in New York that will feature LOTR composer Howard Shore, author of ‘The Music of the Lord of the Rings Films’ Doug Adams, and actor Billy Boy (aka Pippin the Hobbit).  The panel will be moderated by MTV’s Kurt Loder and to celebrate, MTV are offering fans an offer to purchase tickets to the event at 50% off (only $10!).
