Megan Fox Can’t Fathom Wonder Woman
Megan Fox says Wonder Woman is "lame", yet she still looks the part...
Megan Fox has shattered all rumors that she may take on the iconic role of Wonder Woman. Speaking with FHM magazine, Fox gave her opinion on the DC comic book heroine in no uncertain terms.
“She’s lame,” Megan told FHM magazine. “She flies around in an invisible jet, but she’s not invisible. I don’t get it.”
We can’t really argue that and in fact agree that her decision to star as the water controlling super-hero Aspen Matthews in the upcoming Fathom is a better choice for her (especially considering her background as a potential olympic swimmer).
Fathom, based on the Top-Cow comic, is a Jason Bourne-style story that follows a girl who is adopted by a military man after being found on an abandoned ship. She becomes a champion swimmer and marine biologist, but once she gets older realizes she is part of an underwater humanoid race that can control the power of water.
Fathom will be released sometime in 2011.
Interestingly, DC Comics and Warner Bros. have tenatively scheduled a live-action Wonder Woman feature film for release in 2011. Now we have no idea if this will still eventuate or not, but given Fox’s comments, it would certainly be amusing to see Fathom go up against Wonder Woman at the box office.

Personally, I am glad Megan Fox will not be cast as Wonder Woman. As a little girl growing up loving her — I would not have gone to see it with Megan Fox as the lead. This role demands class, and a certain level of maturity. What about Charlize Theron as wonder woman??

I think Megan Fox will eventually have the role. She is talented and despite her immaturity, she has the physical attributes as well as the acting talent to fill the role(an besides no matter how hard people look, no one will do better than Lynda Carter.

Megan Fox shouldn’t be Wonder Woman IF SHE can’t be mature about it. By Calling Wonder Woman “Lame” she (Fox) desicrates an AMerican Icon of over 60 years (short of Captain America and Superman).
This isn’t really about who can and who can’t play Wonder Woman, but rather appreciate the role and honor it as much as Lynda Carter has.
If I were to weigh in on WHO should portray Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince I would say that the following names should be (and in this order) given the chance to do so.
1) Charisma Carpenter
2) Sienna Miller
3) Kate Beckensale
4) Charlize Theron
Charisma mainly because she has the look and the attitude to portray Wonder Woman, and IF Joss is going to ever direct it, because Joss has had Charisma work under his direction before.
Additionally, becasue Wonder Woman is a part for lesser known actresses or un-known actresses to show their stuff.
Not many people knew who Lynda Carter was before Wonder Woman, and with out that we would’ve been robbed of Lynda’s beauty and talent as an actress.

If This movie was being made in the year 2000, I think Chyna wwe wrestler could do it. In my opinion Chyna is beautiful, strong, and powerful, and is very serious and is also a woman of few words. I Personally think hollywood producers should try and find a relatively unknown actress, just like Linda Carter was back in the day. It might just pay off?

Well what I think is that we should look for someone new. not someone used already. angelina jolie is a used actress and although I personally do not care for her I wil not let my opinion state that she couldn’t do it. Megan Fox has the look true but she hasn’t the heart for it. you want someone knew, someone who has passion and has the looks. with makeup at this day and age almost anyone could be made up right I think David Preist understands a great deal of the importance of this role. Look at Jen Garner in Elektra she loved that character and did a good job at the CHARACTER. we need someone who is enthuiastic and fresh on the job.

I also wonder about the Invisible plane. how did they come across that? Megan Fox is oviously confused and unsure about what she represents. we don’t need a sex symbol for the role!

PJ I am afraid I have to disagree with you. those actresses are USED and do not fit the role Wonder Woman is beautiful, stong and wise we need something new and unique. Chyna was unique and I think they should have gone through with that movie then. but this is the future so lets stick to that. Uniqueness is needed like lynda Carter she was Irish and Mexican! we need a fresh start.

I am very interested in this film and even sent in ideas about guess what! they sent a letter back saying they liked my costume I made up very new and very WonderWoman they should look for something along ancient Greece with a modern twist design on the outfit. anyone else have Ideas?

well I do know that megan fox looks the part and unfortuneatly she has no interest to play the part.
