Megan Fox to star in 'Fathom'
Megan Fox (Transformers/ Whore / How to Lose Friends & Alienate People), who in a recent MSN Movie Poll was voted the sexiest sci-fi actress of all time, will produce and star in a new super-powered feature film based on the Top Cow comic, Fathom.
Fox will play the lead role of Aspen Matthews, a Jason Bourne-style amnesiac who is adopted by a military man after being found on an abandoned ship. She becomes a champion swimmer and marine biologist, but once she gets older realizes she is part of an underwater humanoid race that can control the power of water.

Megan Fox can also be seen in the lead role as a crazed killer cheerleader the upcoming Jennifer’s Body (release date 18th September 2009) and has been rumored to star in the medieval action-adventure movie, Iron Clad. She is also reprising her role as Mikaela Banes in Michael Bay’s monster robot sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (set for release 24 June 2009).
Peter Safran (Slither / Meet the Spartans), Brian Austin Green (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Steve Bessen (Gattaca) will co-produce with Fox. The creator of the comic, Michael Turner (Witchblade), passed away in 2008. In homage to him his name will be given credit as Executive Producer.
Fathom is sheduled to be released sometime in 2011.
