The Men In Black sequel started filming this week, after many delays and re-scheduling. The plan for the  film is to shoot durring the Christmas week, after which the production will be shut down until as late as mid-February. The screenwriter Jeff Nathanson is apparently working on a new script which was previously written by Etan Cohen. It has been specified that the scenes about the time-travelling have certain issues. According to the producers, the hiatus is due to the fact that certain scenes should be filmed in warmer spring-like weather. Besides, according to Walter Parkes, should the filming befin before the end of 2010, the producers will benefit from the tax incentives.

The movie’s plot involves the villain Yaz (Jemaine Clement)  traveling back in time to assassinate Agent Kay (whose younger version is played by James Brolin), which causes a chain of events and ends in the destruction of the world. Other cast  includes Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Thompson, Nicole Scherzinger, Rip Torn, Gemma Arterton, Alec Baldwin, and Sharlto Copley.

Men in Black III will be released in 3D on May 25th 2012.
