James Cameron’s Avatar is our most highly anticipated film of 2009 – and it’s also one of the most secretive films of the year. So it feels kind of odd that one of the first real news items regarding the film would be a major spoiler taken from just a single sentence.
Speaking with Latina, actress Michelle Rodriguez (who plays ex-marine pilot Trudy Chacon in the film) has spilled the beans on what’s in store for her character.
MAJOR SPOILER coming up..
Here’s what Rodriguez had to say to Latina:
“Anytime you’ve got a wild, independent, free-spirited woman, she has to die at the end of the movie, unless it’s a movie that’s so sci-fi that it can’t be real, like Tomb Raider.”
“Me? I die in every film that I’m in this year. They’re just gonna have to keep on killing me. I’ll keep coming back, until they realize what’s hot and make flicks for bitches like me.”
So now we know what happens in the end to the character of Trudy Chacon in Avatar.
