New Star in ‘True Blood’

According to the confirmed reports from TVGuide.com, we have come to know that Alfred Woodard will be making a guest appearance in True Blood’s 3rd season. Alfred Woodard shot to fame with her roles in My Own Worst Enemy and Desperate Housewives. This 57 year old charming actress is slated to take up the role of Layfette’s mother (Tara’s aunt). Now, Woodward’s addition to True Blood is not an isolated case as J. Smith-Cameron has been roped in to play the role of Sam’s mother and Melinda is supposed to play her son. James Frain will be playing the role of Franklin Mott – Tara’s new love interest.
