Beautiful New ‘Astro Boy’ Poster
Summit Entertainment have debuted the latest, apparently final and most definitely beautiful poster for their upcoming animated feature film Astro Boy.

The story of Astro Boy, animated by Imagi Animation Studios, takes place in futuristic Metro City. It follows a young robot built with incredible powers by a brilliant scientist trying to replace the son that he has lost. The young robot (Astro Boy) is unable to fulfill the grieving man’s expectations and so embarks on a journey to learn about himeslf, the world, and ultimately must battle to save Metro City.

Freddie Highmore (The Spiderwick Chronicles / The Golden Compass) provides the voice of Astro Boy and Nicolas Cage is the voice of Dr. Tenma. Donald Sutherland and Kristen Bell’s (Heroes) voices are also featured. David Bowers (Flushed Away) directs.
Astro Boy hits theaters October 23 2009.
