The above image is a concept artists drawing of the command center from Christian Alvart’s sci-fi thriller Pandorum. The image surfaced over at DVDForum where they have two additional sketch drawings.  Click here to check those out.

Just in case you missed the latest trailer, here it is:

Pandorum, which has been compared to a mixture of Cube/Lost/Alien/Hellraiser IV and Resident Evil, follows a group of people who wake up on a massive city-sized spacecraft with no memory of who they are or why they are there…and if the trailer didn’t make it clear, they are not alone.

The cast includes Ben Foster (X:Men The Last Stand / Punisher), Dennis Quad (Day After Tomorrow / Frequency), Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down / The Unborn), Eddie Rouse (The Number 23 / American Gangster), Normal Reedus (Blade 2 / Hero Wanted), beautiful German Actress Antje Traue, and Mixed Martial Arts fighting champion Cung Le (Tekken / Dark Assasin).

Pandorum will be released:
USA – September 18, 2009
Australia – October 8, 2009

The trailer gives it the impression of a Dead Space live action film.

Which is itself a Event Horizon similarity.

500 million miles from Earth? That’s still in the solar system. The earth is only (on average) 94 million miles from the Sun. Jupiter is almost 500 million miles from the Sun.
