No Universal Soldier’s in ‘Rambo V: The Savage Hunt’

Nothing like a little misinformation or misinterpretation of information to keep fans on their toes.

It seems previous reports detailing the premise that Rambo V: The Savage Hunt would feature Rambo hunting Universal Soldier type super soldiers were wrong.

Sylvester Stallone left a voice message for AICN in which he clarified the story. AICN have posted the voicemail message online. Listen to it here.

To summarise, the new premise has John Rambo called in to tackle a “feral beast” on a rampage towards civilization after an elite team sent to stop it fails. The beast is an “amalgamation of fury and intelligence and pure unadulterated rage…with absolute cunning, intelligence and a will to survive that is only matched by Rambo.”

Sounds a little like Rambo vs an angry Predator. Either way, I’m in.
