Paul Campbell and Arielle Kebbel Join ABC’s ‘No Heroics’

Paul Campbell and Arielle Kebbel join the cast of 'No Heroics'
Paul Campbell (Battlestar Galactica / Knight Rider) and Arielle Kebbel (The Grudge 2 / The Uninvited) have joined the cast of ABC’s super-hero comedy, No Heroics.
Campbell’s character, the leader of the group of B-Grade super heroes around which the series revolves, will be able to freeze small objects. Kebbel will play the sweetheart of the group – her powers have not been announced. The two will join Eliza Coupe (Scrubs / Samantha Who) , a bad girl that can turn invisible.
No Heroics was originally a six-part BBC production created by Drew Pearce that told the story of a pub named ‘The Fortress’ in which super-hero’s relax on their time off. The pub is a place where heroes can relax as the use of all super powers is banned inside the premises.
The series followed four main heroes, all of whom either had mediocre powers or were a laughing stock to heroes with stronger powers. So far the details emerging for the US version have characters with different powers. ABC still have one male star to cast, and some fans are hoping he will be ‘The Hotness’, the most popular character in the BBC series who was capable of burning things…usually accidentally.
No further details are to hand.
