Milla Jovovich in 'Resident Evil: Extinction'

Around a week ago we learned that Resident Evil: Aferlife will be filmed in 3D using the same technology used on James Cameron’s Avatar, that it will have the largest budget of all the Resident Evil films to date, and that it will [hopefully] be the first in a new Resident Evil trilogy.

In the latest news, whilst promoting A Perfect Getaway, Milla Jovovich has confirmed that she’ll not only be taking on the lead role in the fourth Resident Evil film, but also that of many clones.

“I’m the lead role,” says Jovovich. “There’s the clones and it’s going to be a lot of work. I’m gonna be working every day for the next four months on this and it’s gonna be bigger than ever. It’s super-exciting.”

“Let’s just say this. The clones are definitely in it. You’ve got multiple Alice’s kicking serious butt. And definitely the real Alice has some pretty major things happen to her that change the stakes a little bit. That’s probably all I can give you in a vague sort of way. It’s definitely going to be a different Alice than who we’re used to.”

Resident Evil: Afterlife will hit theaters September 17, 2010.

…You have to admit, kids. Even though Milla’s *still* got no chest to speak of, she’s still managed to hold on to a great ass.
