Rumors About Syfy Bringing Back ‘Firefly’ Continue
Firefly will never die!
Fans of Joss Whedon should get Serenity credit as they never say die and so their wishes to bring back the series may yet come true.
Syfy is buzzing as to how to bring back the popular series and this buzz has turned into a movie called Serenity. Sources said that, ‘There is one show that keeps getting buzz around here and it is Firefly.’
Options on whether it will be a continuation of the series or another movie that takes over from the end of Serenity have been discussed.”
The biggest problem is that many of the actors who played the main character in Firefly have moved onto other projects, and coordinating their return could be difficult. However, a prequel is one idea that has been discussed, and it would introduce an entirely new group of characters.
Don’t know, fans will like the show same as previous or not.
Well, its still a rumor, not to get much in this.

This will never happen. SyFy doesn’t have the balls to do this unless giant snakes and/or crocs are involved.

Firefly was one of the best sci-fi series I’ve EVER watched. However, I don’t think any kind of continuation with the brilliant original cast is still possible. As much as all the Firefly fans I know would love to see it, we shouln’t hold our breath. If FOX and Joss couldn’t get together on this by NOW, it’s not going to happen.

Firefly had one of the best casts for a television show in history. Great concept, great effects, and like the director from ‘District 9′, Joss Whedon did a lot with a little$.

I still think this needs to happen. Joss Whedon is an incredible writer and I think if you gave him the time he would blow us all away. I watch Firefly again and again and just beg for more. Plus I know I’m not alone in this. I think the show would pull in a lot of viewers.
